Here’s what our project manager will be doing:

  • Intervene very upstream, see in the pre-project phase, during the costing of cases to propose methodological variants,
  • Analyse responses calls for tenders and recommendations in consultation with our Cost Estimator,
  • Ensure the selection of subcontractors as well as the procurement and negotiation with subcontractors,
  • Investigate design variants or choice of material with the Design Office to meet customer expectations and optimise the profitability of projects,
  • Guarantee the quality, prices, and deadlines of realisation as well as the receptions and lifting of reservations (OPR),
  • Ensure the smooth running of projects in terms of financial and contractual management,
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers in the delivery of the project,
  • Execute and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within a defined budget,
  • Control the drawings, the project program and you contribute if necessary,
  • Follow-up on sites on a daily basis to fully understand the progress and the problem of the sites,
  • Maintain very good professional relations with your interlocutors and you are always looking for new projects/contracts,
  • Apply our policy regarding our environmental policy,
  • Guarantee the respect of the deadlines, the budget and the quality of the operations as well as the conformity of the specifications,
  • Control the schedule of execution of the works and the supply of materials,
  • Guarantee the management of operations and negotiations on the technical, administrative and financial levels of works contracts,
  • Organise the receptions of the works and follow the lifting of the reservations,
  • Participate in the negotiation and resolution of conflicts or various expertise,
  • Ensure coordination between the BET, the control office and the companies,
  • Organise and lead site meetings with Project Managers, Project Owners and Companies,
  • Manage the preparation and follow-up of business, the organisation, the animation of meetings and maintains a privileged relationship with the various stakeholders (Project Owners,
  • Control Offices, Specialists, Architects, subcontractors ...),
  • Manage the management of the work of the companies (OPC, separate lots), involves the service providers adapted to the different phases as well as the dealers, animates the site meetings and establishes the minutes and the detailed schedules TCE,
  • Mobilise the necessary technical specialists, organise the interventions, ensure the direction of the execution of the works contract (DET missions),
  • You are the representative of the company on the site, participates in progress meetings and is the interlocutor of all stakeholders: project owner or his representative, project manager, control office, subcontractors (...),
  • Ensure compliance with all permission matrices/grids,

Health and Safety Responsibilities :

  • Apply HQSE regulations,
  • Comply with our Health and Safety Policy and ISO accreditations, you must manage and ensure that subcontractors also comply with them,
  • Incorporate health and safety issues when responding to tenders,

Process Management and reporting :

  • Ensure that all the information is transmitted to your teams,
  • Analyse and support the production process,
  • Participate in the preparation of budget proposals and studies,
  • Update proposals,
  • Ensure follow-up on KPI,

What we’re looking for from our project manager :

  • You have at least 10 years of proven experience in a demanding business environment, or you have consistently exceeded targets,
  • You have experience in the construction sector, preferably with a recognised general contractor.

Ideally, here’s what you will also have :

  • You are very operational, focused and responsive. You have the ability to respond to changing internal and external needs,
  • You are able to identify staff strengths and weaknesses, develop staff in line with training plans and carry out assessments on a regular basis,
  • You have a very good understanding of the construction sector, the market, and practices with, if possible, experience in the development and renovation sectors in office, hotel and retail,
  • You maintain strong relationships with potential customers,
  • You understand and are aligned with the company's vision and values,
  • You have excellent communication skills. You have a high business awareness and be able to represent the company at the highest internal and external level,
  • You are robust and resilient, possessing motivation, determination, and natural enthusiasm,
  • You have a good knowledge of local markets,
  • English both written and spoken,
