Here’s what our senior project manager will be doing

You’ll provide a service of excellence to our clients and internal teams, helping us to win new projects, respecting our health and safety rules, and being mindful of the regulations in force as well as the internal rules of the company.

What’s more, we’ll be looking to you to mitigate any risks, strive to achieve the very highest levels of customer satisfaction, and to ensure the follow-up of your projects from the study phases to the reception of the works, without neglecting the period of perfect completion.

  • Involvement throughout the delivery - including the pre-project phase and during the costing of cases to propose methodological variants
  • Analysing calls for tenders and recommendations alongside with our cost estimator
  • Assisting in the selection of and negotiations with subcontractors
  • Investigating design/material variants in order to meet customer expectations and optimise the project profitability of projects
  • Guaranteeing quality, prices, and deadlines as well as receptions and lifting of reservations (OPR)
  • Ensuring the smooth running of projects in terms of financial and contractual management
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the delivery
  • Executing and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within a defined budget
  • Controlling the drawings and project programmes
  • Daily site check-ins to monitor progress and mitigate problems
  • Maintaining strong relations with stakeholders
  • Adhering to our environmental policy at all times
  • Respecting deadlines, budgets, and quality - as well as conformity to regulations
  • the respect of the deadlines, the budget and the quality of the operations as well as the conformity of the specifications
  • Controlling the schedule of execution of the works and the supply of materials
  • Managing operations and negotiations on the technical, administrative and financial levels of contracts
  • Organising the receptions of the works and follow the lifting of the reservations
  • Participating in the negotiation and resolution of conflicts
  • Ensuring coordination between the BET, control office and other stakeholders
  • Leading site meetings with in-house and external teams
  • Mobilising the necessary technical specialists, organising any interventions, ensuring the direction of the execution of the works contract (DET missions)
  • Representing the company on the site, participating in progress meetings and maintain communication with all stakeholders, project owners, control office, subcontractors etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with all permission matrices/grids

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Apply HQSE regulations,
  • Comply with our Health and Safety Policy and ISO accreditations - ensuring that subcontractors also comply
  • Incorporate health and safety issues when responding to tenders.

Process Management and reporting:

  • Ensuring all the information is transmitted to your teams
  • Analysing and supporting the production process
  • Participating in the preparation of budget proposals and studies
  • Updating proposals
  • Ensuring follow-up on KPIs.

What we’re looking for from our senior project manager:

Reporting directly to the operations manager, you’ll take full responsibility for project delivery, and therefore need a professional and proactive approach - including effective communication skills and experience in negotiation, both internally and externally with clients.

This role would be suitable for a candidate with an organised and methodical character, who is happy to work independently but nevertheless part of a project team.

You’ll have at least 10 years of proven experience in a demanding business environment, have consistently exceeded targets, and preferably with a recognized general contractor.

Ideally, you’ll also possess the following qualities:

  • Very operational, focused and responsive, with the ability to respond to changing internal and external needs
  • Able to identify colleagues’ strengths and weaknesses - working with them to create training plans and carrying out assessments on a regular basis
  • A solid understanding of the construction sector, market, and practices
  • Understanding of the development and renovation sectors in office, hotel and retail
  • The ability to maintain strong relationships with potential customers
  • Shared values and vision
  • Excellent communication skills, high business awareness and be able to represent the company at the highest internal and external level
  • Robust and resilient, possessing motivation, determination, and natural enthusiasm
  • Knowledge of local markets
  • A master's degree in French and English (both written and spoken).
