We’re looking for a TSM to lead our high-quality space planning, design, build, and construction services

Working across Europe and with a client roster that includes international names such as Five Guys, Fred Perry, Indeed.com, The Instant Group, and LVMH, there’s always something interesting to be a part of.

You will join us and work alongside our colleagues on a range of projects across Europe.

Here’s what our technical services manager will be doing

The technical services manager will provide a service of excellence to our clients and internal teams. They will help us to win new projects, respect our health and safety rules, and be mindful of the regulations in force as well as the internal rules of the company.

What’s more, we’ll be looking to you to mitigate any risks, strive to achieve the very highest levels of customer satisfaction, and to ensure the follow-up of your projects from the study phases to the reception of the works, without neglecting the period of perfect completion. 

  • Implement best practice documentation to facilitate project delivery
  • Ensure feasibility and advise on technical matters during pre-construction
  • Review of client's or subcontractors' plans to ensure compliance with the requirements of the contract
  • Provide guidance to subcontractors' and contractor's around technical submissions
  • Verify conformity of the installations with the offer (specificities, plans ...) and you advise the team in charge of the project
  • Contribute to project-related reports and attend meetings if necessary
  • Attend, chair and write a meeting report if necessary (customer meeting, subcontractors, suppliers, technical service project team)
  • Manage relationship with all contractors, BET and architects to ensure the proper installation of equipment
  • Provide expertise and advice during preparatory meetings as well as during the execution of the work or its closure
  • Organize the visits to lift the reservations and inspections to ensure that the work will be well done by the subcontractors
  • Attend all the purposes of the construction site or the end of specific work before the lifting of the reservations
  • Note all the results and/or controls and certificates and ensure the signature of the interested parties
  • Ensure the proper transfer of technical files to the work teams,
  • Achieve customer expectations and optimize the profitability of projects,
  • Respect the costs, deadlines and quality of the business for which he is responsible.
  • Ensure the conformity of the technical installations with the contractual clauses

 Health and safety responsibilities:

  • Apply HQSE regulations,
  • Comply with our Health and Safety Policy and ISO accreditations, you must manage and ensure that subcontractors also comply with them,
  • Incorporate health and safety issues when responding to tenders,

 Process management and reporting:

  • Ensure that all the information is transmitted to your teams,
  • Analyse and support the production process,
  • Participate in the preparation of budget proposals and studies,
  • Update proposals,
  • Ensure follow-up on KPI,

 What we’re looking for from our technical services manager:

The ideal candidate will have a professional and proactive approach – and will need to be a confident communicator with experience in negotiation, both internally and externally.

This role would be suitable for someone with an organised and methodical character, who is happy to work independently as well as being an integral part of a project team.

Reporting directly to the operations manager, the technical services manager takes full responsibility for the projects entrusted to them. You’ll also have:

  • At least five years of proven experience in a demanding business environment, or you have consistently exceeded targets
  • Experience in the construction sector, preferably with a recognised general contractor
  • Skills in engineering, HVAC, energy, thermal engineering
  • Awareness in the field of the environment and renewable energies
  • Knowledge in building techniques and industrial equipment
  • Mastery of calculation methods and simulation tools
  • Understanding of environmental standards and regulations.

 Ideally, here’s what qualities you’ll also have:

  • You are very operational, focused, and responsive – including the ability to respond to changing internal and external needs
  • Able to identify staff strengths and weaknesses, develop staff in line with training plans and carry out assessments on a regular basis
  • A very good understanding of the construction sector, the market, and practices with, if possible, experience in the development and renovation sectors in office, hotel and retail
  • The ability to maintain strong relationships with potential customers
  • You understand and are aligned with the company's vision and values
  • Excellent communication skills, high business awareness and can represent the company at the highest internal and external level
  • Robust and resilient, possessing motivation, determination, and natural enthusiasm
  • Good knowledge of local markets
  • A master's degree in French and English both written and spoken
