Agilité Solutions expands business opportunities through CREW
Agilité Solutions’ development director, Kirsty Shearer, is constantly on the lookout for innovative new ways to extend our worldwide reach. So, she has joined 12,000 fellow business leaders as part of the global organisation, CREW Network.
Having attended the CREW Network Convention in the US last year, Kirsty was impressed with what she saw and heard from the organisation’s representatives. Already a member of the Franco British Chamber of Commerce, and given Agilité’s global footprint, she applied for membership in CREW UK, a global affiliate of CREW Network, earlier this year.
The affiliation is already playing dividends too, with Kirsty having been invited to speak at a forthcoming ‘CREW Coffee’ webinar later this month. Taking place on 13 May at 4pm, Kirsty will join Tara Piurko, partner at MillerThomson LLP (and former CREW Network president / Toronto CREW member) and John Williams, head of marketing at The Instant Group to explore the topic; ‘How to grow your network in a virtual environment’.
Although initially a female-centric organisation, CREW doesn’t define its members by gender – instead, it looks to introduce people and companies based on suitability and credibility.
Kirsty Shearer, development director at Agilité Solutions, said: “I’m delighted to be a part of the CREW Network and look forward to working with the team and my fellow members. It’s great to have been invited to join in an online event already, and I’m hoping this will be the first of many!”
CREW Network was founded in 1989 with the sole aim of bringing together women who were working in, typically, male-dominated industries. The idea was to share ideas and information, develop business contacts and help each other to succeed professionally.
30 years later, the US-based 12,000-strong member community now has a global footprint spread across 75+ industries, and is known for transforming the international commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally.
