Can There Ever Be Such a Thing as a ‘Snag Free’ Project?

We believe that by ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and that sites run smoothly by interlinking different groups of expertise, we’re one step closer.

What is ‘snagging’?

When we refer to snags, we’re talking about workmanship that falls short of our usual high standards or overlooked details which need to be finished.

Snagging/punch lists can also be caused by miscommunication between the different parties involved in delivering a project – from the client and their team to the contractor down to other sub-contractor partners who may be called in to provide specialist expertise.

How do we achieve ‘snag free’?

We believe in the power of talking and collaboration to achieve the right outcome for our clients. That’s why it’s vital that we understand our customers’ expectations from the outset and listen to feedback from the beginning, throughout the project and afterwards.

Managing quality begins in the pre-construction phase by selecting the correct partners and continues from the point we set foot on site until completion. This ethos is part of everything we do, and we aim to get as close as possible to a perfect result.

We use advanced software which enables us to monitor progress during the works with the aim of keeping snagging to the absolute minimum. In the event of snags being identified on completion, we commit to ensuring all are corrected within one month.

We don’t claim to be experts in everything, which is why to strive to find the right expertise for the job and join up the dots.

What are the benefits of achieving snag free?

Providing a high quality, snag free project on time and within budget, boosts client satisfaction and opens the floor for positive recommendations and repeat business. Delivering projects with minimal snags can be difficult when the efforts of a multifaceted supply chain come together. To date, we’ve handed over a number of sizeable and complex fit outs, often within strict contractual timeframes and budgetary stipulations, with negligible snags at the point of completion.
