Experienced Construction Professional Joins Agilité To Drive Italian Expansion
Maria Luisa Daglia is the latest colleague to join the ever-expanding Agilité Solutions team, as the company prepares to further its pan-European expansion in 2020 and beyond.
Having spent more than a decade working in the international construction sector, Maria Luisa is a senior architect with vast experience delivering complex design and build projects and roll outs. She has site delivery experience in both the retail and commercial office sectors, for brands including Apple, JD Sports, Victoria’s Secret, Five Guys and Nike.
Before joining Agilité, she spent six years with ISG plc, in high-level project and program management roles in France, Germany, The Netherlands and Italy.
It is here that her attention will remain, as the Agilité role now sees her head up a new Italian division on the back of unparalleled and consistent business growth since the company was founded in 2018.
Agilité has already completed work for clients throughout France, the UK, Luxembourg, Belgium and Switzerland. Maria Luisa will therefore now be responsible for driving the company’s continued European expansion, in Italy.
Her responsibilities will include nurturing relationships with existing contacts; identifying new opportunities for clients to expand, relocate or remodel their spaces throughout the country; and strengthening Agilité’s supply chain by extending the team’s network of local partners.
Commenting on Maria Luisa’s appointment, Agilité’s founder Neil Coales said:
“As a team we have vast experience of the European market – Italy included.
“We’ve been monitoring the growing vibrancy of the construction sector here – particularly in the office environment – and know we’ve a lot to offer, both for domestic brands looking to grow, and organisations from elsewhere on the continent seeking to enter, expand in or relocate to Italy.
“But from day one our ethos has always been to recruit the highest calibre of talent from industry. Maria Luisa’s extensive architecture, design and project management skill-set – not to mention first-hand knowledge of the market – will therefore significantly strengthen our delivery excellence ability, so that we maintain the standards we’ve become renowned for in only a short space of time.”
Maria Luisa added: “It’s an exciting time to be in Italy, at present. The 2026 Winter Olympics is just one of the catalysts for economic growth and cities like Milan are therefore proving an attractive pull for brands seeking a strong European presence.
“I am really looking forward to the opportunity to make my mark within the Agilité team, alongside colleagues I know and respect from my career in construction.
“As a collective, they offer a very different approach to general contracting which is undoubtedly the reason for the traction they’ve achieved in a very short space of time.
“I too want to maintain their commitment to delivering projects to the highest possible standard – with maximum respect for budgets, schedules and local customs – while always maintaining a personable service for the brands who appoint us.”
