Office relocation for Mozilla in Paris
Globally-renowned technology brand Mozilla has relocated to a new 450sqm office in Paris, following a seven-week design and build contract executed by Agilité.
Appointed due to our proven ability to satisfy demanding timescales and challenging briefs, Agilité was tasked with delivering a fully-functional, interesting and vibrant environment for Mozilla’s valued workforce.
Clearly defined timelines and strict budgetary parameters meant strong lines of communication were crucial from the outset, both with the client locally and in the USA.
Agilité produced concept and scheme designs that aligned perfectly with the project’s requirements, and regular dialogue with the Mozilla team ensured complete client satisfaction as the tightly-timed schedule unfolded.
The procurement process was conducted with complete transparency, with the client constantly informed of progress. Value engineered solutions were suggested where any potential budget exceedance could have occurred. The reuse of existing furniture was also prioritised where possible, to ensure the avoidance of unnecessary spend.
Works finished in July – on time and within budget – and this stand-out commercial space is now complete with large conference rooms equipped with high-end audio visual system, an acoustic video conferencing room, open plan working areas, collaborative spaces, a cafeteria and a furnished terrace.
Commenting on the project, Rob Middleton, Mozilla’s Senior Director, Global WPR, said: “Our people are crucial to our global operation, so when it comes to the working environments we provide for them, we expect the highest possible standards.
“This was an ambitious design and build project – particularly considering the timescale – but we chose Agilité because of their proven experience in this complex field. They did not disappoint – in fact, they went on to exceed our expectations. The resulting space is truly stand out.”
