Team spotlight – meet Matias Naciff
We’ve worked hard to recruit some of the most experienced global talent from the world of design, build, construction and project management. Each month, we put one of our colleagues in the spotlight so you can learn a little more about their role…
- Describe your job in one paragraph
My job is to oversee construction projects from the beginning to end, ensuring that equipment and supplies are ordered and delivered according to schedule, while working closely with the various stakeholders to make sure our client’s expectations are fulfilled when we complete the project.
- Which one word would colleagues use to describe you?
I think — and hope — it would be ‘reliable’.
- Why do you think Agilité stands out from competitors?
Agilité offers a bespoke service to every client. Each construction project offers something different and the team adapts the supply chain in order to achieve the highest construction standards and provide the client with a great experience from start to finish.
- You have worked in some amazing places around the world. Which has been your favourite?
I’ve worked all over Argentina and, while it was an excellent experience to oversee projects in my home country, Paris is an amazing city that continues to surprise me every day.
- What’s your biggest career highlight to date?
It’s not specifically a career highlight, but I arrived in France with very little knowledge of the language and have gone on to achieve an engineering diplomaas well as assisting with construction projects — where everybody speaks French! Therefore, I’m particularly proud of my journey — figuratively and literally!
- The phone rings and it’s your dream client… who is it?
It could be any brand, but it’s always nice when a previous client calls you to discuss a future project.
- What key piece of advice would you give to a client planning a fit-out project on a budget?
Involve all stakeholders from the very beginning, including the landlord, architects, and a general contractor. Take your time planning and assessing the space — it will minimise material waste and maximise productivity.
- When you’re not at work, where are we most likely to find you?
I love to travel, explore new places and get to know different cultures, so in my free time under normal circumstances, I pick up my bag and fly anywhere I can.
- What’s next for Agilité?
It’s been a very strange year for the whole industry, but the Agilité team showed its ability to adapt and reshape its structure, while continuing to deliver high-quality fit-out projects all over the continent. Moving forward, we will continue to invest our passion and drive into every commercial and retail project that we undertake across Europe.
