Realising retail ambitions in Paris
Agilité Solutions was appointed to oversee the design execution of Fred Perry’s flagship Laurel Wreath Collection Paris Temple Store – with the retailer looking to create a large, inspirational space incorporating a design which told the story of the iconic brand.
Completed in eight weeks, the 150 sqm French outlet was formed by connecting two adjoining buildings – which were transformed both aesthetically and structurally.
Linking an existing retail unit with a former parking garage, Agilité managed the closure and strip out of the existing store, as well as the installation of a new three-phase electrical service, structural concrete and the overhaul of the existing mechanical systems – including a new air conditioning system throughout.
The former store entrance was concealed, with the team overseeing the restoration of its historic façade alongside the creation of a new custom steel primary entrance, partitions and ceilings throughout, as well as the decoration of a custom concrete micro-screed floor and steel paneling.
Under the scope of works, Agilité also managed all subcontractors – including the third-party lightbox installer.
Delivered during the pandemic, and with the client unable to travel to site due to European restrictions, Agilité used a 3D camera to share progress and collaborate on decision-making.
Scope of works: strip out, restoration work, structural concrete, electrical installations, HVAC, decoration.
