Helping Indeed.com make its Dusseldorf HQ ‘covid-secure’
As the world’s leading job site, Indeed.com appointed Agilité Solutions to adapt its existing 3,000 sqm Dusseldorf HQ and prepare for the return of 106 staff – following the Covid-19-related lockdowns in Germany.
Spread across two buildings – La Vista and Belmundo – the scope of works included the management of all direct contractors, creation of a new layout in line with Covid-secure guidelines, including reorganising the floors, and liaising with a specialist cleaning company.
As well as logistical support and change management guidance, we were also tasked with rebranding both locations, minor decoration, and strip-out work.
The scope of works also included the development and implementation of an office access system – screening and time slot allocation – during the delivery, to ensure any third-parties did not pose a possible cross-contamination threat to themselves, or employees entering the building to collect belongings.
With 418 workspaces created – and with Indeed.com colleagues given the option to return or remain working from home – the Belmundo has now reopened for those choosing to commute into the office.
Delivered in just five weeks, work was overseen by our partner project manager Lee Garner – a British construction specialist based in Dusseldorf. He had to maintain clear and consistent reporting with the client – who was unable to visit the site due to local restrictions – via regular conference calls and weekly photo reports.
Scope of works: project management, facilities management, contractor management, strip-out, design and layout, signage, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
