Kicking off Lids’ UK expansion in Covent Garden
Delivered in just five working days, this 80m² project formed the first of a raft of planned store openings across Europe for US-based sports retailer Lids.
To uphold the consistent brand identity which Lids is known for throughout the U.S. and Canada, the scope of works included the building out of walls – alongside the installation of a slatted feature wall, embroidery counter, and cash cube.
Opened in December 2021, the store also features Lids’ signature Custom Zone – which allow shoppers to customise a hat of their choice in-store.
What’s more, the team also took care of all lighting, IT, data, and electrical work, as well as HVAC, the fire alarm system, and all emergency signage too. And, with very little time between access to the site and construction starting, the site staff had to adapt quickly as the project unfolded.
Delivered on time and to specification, the success of this project saw Agilité Solutions appointed to further support the brand’s UK expansion at stores in the O2 Peninsula Square in London, Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex, and Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton.
