A refurbishment project for LVMH and French first lady, Brigitte Macron

Agilité Solutions was appointed to transform a 700sqm building into the inspiring new home of the Institute for Employment Vocations – founded by French first lady, Brigitte Macron.

Located in the Clichy-sous-Bois district, the Institut des vocations pour l’emploi (LIVE) provides training for young adults who dropped out of the education system – and is funded by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (LVMH).

The scope of works saw the Agilité team strip back the building to bare concrete, install a new HVAC system and provide bespoke joinery services within the cafeteria and reception areas. The scheme also required optimum acoustic performance throughout, eye-catching flooring, new washrooms and a complete overhaul of the existing electrical infrastructure.

Although the schedule was tight for a programme of this scale and profile, the project was ultimately completed on time, within budget and to the specified finish – in time for the institute’s opening in September 2019.

Not only was the prestigious project a fantastic opportunity to showcase Agilité’s fit out expertise, but it was an honour to be involved in a scheme that is set to have such a positive social impact on the wider French community.
