Parisian office relocation for renowned technology brand Mozilla
Project description:
When globally-renowned technology brand Mozilla set out to relocate to new offices in Paris, Agilité was appointed as the design and build contractor for this high-profile assignment. The brief was to deliver a fully-functional, interesting and vibrant working environment, within clearly defined timelines and strict budgetary parameters.
Regular consultation with the client – locally and in the USA – ensured the concept and scheme design evolved in perfect alignment with the project brief, a transparent procurement process included a number of value-engineered solutions to make the budget work harder, and a reuse strategy was implemented where possible to avoid unnecessary expenditure.
The seven-week office development project allowed the creation of large conference rooms equipped with high-end audio-visual system, acoustic videoconferencing room, open plan working areas, collaborative spaces, a cafeteria and a furnished terrace.
Scope of works:
Design realisation (in close collaboration with Mozilla teams locally and in the USA), management of IT and AV specialists contracted from the USA, furniture procurement, modification and installation of air conditioning throughout.
Project location:
- 117/119 quai de Valmy, Paris
When it comes to the working environments we provide, we expect the highest possible standards.
“Our people are crucial to our global operation, so when it comes to the working environments we provide for them, we expect the highest possible standards.
This was an ambitious design and build project – particularly considering the timescale – but we chose Agilité because of their proven experience in this complex field. They did not disappoint – in fact, they went on to exceed our expectations. The resulting space is truly stand out.”
-Rob Middleton, Mozilla’s Senior Director, Global WPR
