Originating as an online-only brand offering high-quality, yet affordable jewellery to a varied customer base, Mejuri has quickly established itself as an everyday fine jewellery name for all. Since opening its first brick-and-mortar store in Toronto in 2019, the retailer has been gradually building its footprint around the globe, totalling 18 stores across US, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Planification

Sitting in the stylish and bustling Covent Garden, Agilité was challenged to create a modern shopping haven for the Canadian retailer’s second UK store within the characterful, grade II listed building. Demonstrating an adaptable attitude, the team worked around a busy, fast-paced schedule to ensure the project caused minimal disruption in the thriving shopping district.

Alignement

The 130 m2 space was delivered in just nine weeks, and offers customers the personalised shopping experience that the brand has become known for. Complete with arched mirrors, neutral tones, natural light, and contemporary displays — the space perfectly showcases the ranges of elegant jewellery.

Communication

While establishing strong relationships and lines of communication — with the landlord, subcontractors, and client — Agilité effectively managed the project from start to finish, creating a space that represents the new design vision and direction for the bold, playful, and creative brand.

Exécution

The delivery called for strict adherence to Mejuri’s guidelines. Under the scope of works, Agilité created meeting rooms, an open-plan trading floor, patch rooms, as well as high quality wall and floor finishes — all within a tight timeframe and strict budget.

Agilité has worked for a range of well-known retail brands and it was clear our team was the perfect choice to help bring Mejuri’s second British store to life. Delivered in a short space of time, the end product perfectly reflects the brand’s reputation for luxury, approachability, and vibrancy. Our client is excited to welcome customers to their new brick-and-mortar UK store.
