Plan

The project, based on a concept developed by the international design and architecture firm Il Prisma, involved transforming 600 sqm of office space within a recently redeveloped building at Corso Como 15. Agilité’s scope included developing executive architectural designs, as well as mechanical, electrical and special systems layouts. The goal was to create a modern, employee-centric workspace that reflects Globant’s innovative spirit while adhering to the client's budget through value engineering and the use of alternative materials.

Align

Agilité worked closely with Globant and other project stakeholders to ensure the design met the client’s vision of a welcoming, dynamic and multifunctional office environment. The open-plan layout features 100 non-fixed workstations, a main boardroom, smaller meeting rooms and a chill-out area complete with bar, beer dispenser and pool table. The design incorporated custom furnishings and materials that balance spaces for focused work with relaxation areas, promoting synergy, conviviality and networking among employees. A significant aspect of the project was ensuring the office layout could adapt to future needs while maintaining a high level of employee well-being. 

Communicate

Effective communication was key to the project's success, particularly given the involvement of multiple stakeholders and the need to adhere to strict timelines. Agilité facilitated regular meetings and progress reports, ensuring that all parties remained aligned throughout the project. Collaboration with local contractors and suppliers was essential in managing the development of custom furnishings and the installation of various systems, including those for mechanical and electrical needs. The project management structure allowed for timely updates and feedback loops, enabling swift adaptations to any evolving client requirements.

Execute

The space, spread across a single level, incorporates a blend of functional and relaxing environments, with a strong focus on acoustic design to enhance employee well-being. The installation of sound-absorbing ceiling panels, plasterboard walls with wool padding, and bespoke phone booths fitted with soundproofing materials were all integral to achieving a high-quality acoustic environment.
