A complete strip out, comprehensive redesign and full fit-out of a 1,200 sqm retail unit on Regent Street, enhancing the brand’s in-store experience and aligning with its sophisticated aesthetic.

Alo Yoga, a leading activewear brand renowned for its high-quality products and modern, mindful lifestyle approach.
With the Regent Street sanctuary marking the second project delivery for Alo Yoga, Agilité’s UK team knew exactly what to expect from the 1,200 sqm fit-out of the space. Meticulous coordination and strategic foresight were key components of the planning phase, as were previous lessons learnt from the delivery of Alo Yoga’s first store on King’s Road, London – just eight months prior.
In line with Regent Street restrictions and regulations, Agilité’s project team were responsible for ensuring minimal disruption to neighbouring retail and office activities with a special focus placed on the floors above. With long-lead items having the potential to delay key elements of the build – particularly the steelwork and bespoke staircase – anticipating and pre-planning was vital for seamless integration of concurrent trades during each phase.
To align with Alo Yoga’s objectives and aesthetic vision – and having garnered knowledge during the King’s Road project – Agilité supported the client’s design team by offering samples, specialist solutions and design coordination early in the process. This proactive approach enabled the client to select finishes and specifications ahead of installations, eliminating on-site decisions and potential disruptions to the project timeline.

Agilité managed the procurement and delivery of materials into the UK, providing clear dates for arrival onto site and liaising with customs representatives to handle this complex aspect of the process. Although not a design and build project, Agilité provided design coordination including 3D models of the space and the helical staircase, ensuring the outcome matched the client's expectations.
Effective communication was pivotal to the project’s success. Tasked with managing several critical aspects – including landlord works and long lead items – Agilité employed clear lines of communication with the landlord representative, situated above the store to ensure the smooth-running of the many moving parts.
To keep the US-based client informed of progress, Agilité utilised the Holobuilder tool for regular 360-degree photographic updates – allowing the client to stay engaged and updated without needing to travel to London.
Adhering to the planned timeline and budget, Agilité's commitment to sustainability was evident in the implementation of water-efficient provisions, enhanced waste disposal and full material auditability in line with both B Corp standards and landlord requirements.
Visually striking elements, such as the micro cement staircase balustrade and a unique polished concrete flooring were standout features of this project – both elements were new to the client, adding a distinctive touch to the store’s design.
Working closely with June in March, a London-based design studio specialising in bespoke plant-based installations, saw an impressive 5.2 metre organic sculptural representation of a gigantic Bonsai tree running through the centre of the space. The tree was suspended upside down – so the roots and tip were inverse, adding to the theatre. All elements used were naturally preserved plant materials, with the trunk made of salix branches and leaves crafted from preserved juniper. Each component was deconstructed and reassembled with engineered bespoke attachments, with Agilité liaising with the relevant teams on- and off-site during the complex installation.
