Seamless and efficient instalments: delivering over 1,500 sqm of office space for ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ giant Scalapay

Entrusted as the exclusive manager for the fit-out of Scalapay’s Milan office, the plan was to create a space that prioritised employee wellbeing, adaptability and a reduced environmental impact. As the world of work continues to evolve, many businesses are adapting their places of work to accommodate hybrid working, and Scalapay’s requirements to match this include open, multifunctional environments for its new headquarters. 

Agilité successfully adhered to Scalapay's requirements by ensuring every aspect of the office fit-out met the high standards set by the client. Agilité collaborated with DWA Design Studio to create a modern, adaptable and environmentally sustainable workspace. It also focused on specifically requested aspects such as acoustic comfort and energy efficiency. 

A core but easily overlooked aspect of a successful project, Agilité established a clear project management structure, enabling regular updates and feedback loops. Working closely with collaborators such as DWA Design Studio ensured the architectural design seamlessly adhered to Scalapay's vision. Frequent meetings and progress reports kept all parties aligned, while collaborative decision-making facilitated the adaptation of designs to meet the evolving needs of the client. 

Meticulous project management and oversight of nearly all aspects of the project ensured seamless coordination, from initial design to final handover. The project incorporated environmentally friendly materials, energy-efficient systems and innovative acoustic solutions which adhere to LEED and WELL guidance.  Commitment to detail resulted in a modern and adaptable 1,500 sqm office environment that met Scalapay's vision, and showcased Agilité's ability to execute a large-scale office fit-out project from conception to completion.
