Savvy stock layout for the 10-minute grocery delivery brand

Founded by former Deliveroo executives Dija, is undoubtedly one of Europe’s most exciting and forward-thinking brands.

Central to Dija’s success are its small warehouses which are strategically placed in cities’ neighbourhoods to ensure the rapid distribution of goods within the tight timeframe that it promises – and our work formed part of one such roll out.

Planification

With outlets across London and Spain, the latest warehouse – located on Rue des Petits Hôtels – was central to the firm’s promise of delivering groceries to its customers in under ten minutes, and strategically placed to ensure the rapid distribution of goods within the tight timeframe that it promises.

Alignement

Agilité provided a variety of professional and construction services to create a Parisian hub – which now contains more than 2,000 products, ready to be dispatched to online shoppers across the city’s central neighbourhoods, including Montmartre and Le Marais.

Communication

Understanding the importance of a clever fit-out, the layout of the 120 m2 space was key to upholding the grocery brand’s USP of swift delivery times – while ensuring products could be located with ease.

Exécution

Agilité took care of the layout of the space, which sits on the ground floor of a Haussmann building. The design needed to accommodate four double-doored fridges and freezers, heavy duty racking for food storage, as well as a separate office, kitchen, and washroom.

We’re seeing a seismic shift in the shopping habits of people across Europe – particularly within the capital cities. The expectation to want something and have it in your hands within minutes is certainly shaping what consumers expect from online retailers. We’ve been looking closely at how consumer attitudes to bricks and mortar stores compare with online shopping recently – therefore its interesting for us to be involved in creating the infrastructure needed to support these challenger brands
