First class finish for Eurostar’s Premier lounge

The second Premier lounge we’ve delivered for Eurostar, Agilité began works in October 2024 with a five-month programme, but the discovery of lead on site caused a three-week delay. By driving subcontractors and optimising sequencing, the team successfully clawed back time and maintained progress against the client’s milestones. Value engineering reduced costs without compromising quality, including optimising the acoustic ceiling area.

Close collaboration with Eurostar, Hyphen architects and the designer ensured the finished space matched the 3D concept with absolute precision. This alignment was achieved through rigorous coordination drawings for ceilings, walls, and tiling layouts, all approved in advance. The attention to detail was especially critical in complex areas such as the bespoke acoustic ceiling and intricate tile calepinage.

The architect described Agilité as “their eyes on site,” thanks to constant communication via weekly meetings, dashboards and Procore reporting. Agilité managed the full procurement of tiles, joinery, lighting, and HVAC equipment, ensuring timely delivery to keep the project on track.

Agilité handed over the lounge in March 2025, with a delivery that met the client’s expectations despite technical and logistical challenges. Highlights included the flawless installation of a fragile UK-manufactured acoustic ceiling in just three days, heavy marble counters, mirrored joinery, and extensive wood cladding – all coordinated to minimise risk during transport and installation. The result is a premium space that captures Eurostar’s brand of refined travel.
