Enhancing Mejuri’s Marylebone store

Following the success of Mejuri’s Covent Garden store fit-out, Agilité was re-engaged to enhance the brand’s existing Marylebone location. The goal was to improve the store’s interior while allowing uninterrupted foot traffic – a challenge that required after-hours work to avoid disrupting daily operations in this busy central London area.

Close collaboration with Mejuri’s Canada-based design team was key to this project’s success. Regular WhatsApp conversations, daily updates and images of progress kept the team aligned throughout the process. Mejuri’s 130 sqm store needed to reflect its natural yet luxurious aesthetic and particular attention was paid to its feature wall – a focal point of the upgrades – ensuring it met the brand’s vision.

Communication was fluid, thanks to a tight-knit team that included a single client contact, project manager and subcontractor. Information circulated efficiently, ensuring seamless coordination from top to bottom. The small, dedicated team enabled real-time problem-solving and quick decision-making, ensuring everyone was fully aligned throughout.

Delivered on time and within budget, the project was executed in two phases to accommodate the client’s evolving needs. Agilité sourced local materials to match Mejuri’s US specifications, as well as giving a second life to existing store elements – enhancing the project’s sustainability. The team also refined the existing piercing studio and refinished the floors and staircase to bring them in line with the brand’s aesthetic standards.
