We’re hiring a junior bid manager – join our European project team

We’re looking for a junior bid manager to join our team and support the preparation of bids for construction projects across Europe.

With a headcount of 86 full-time employees across six European offices – France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and Luxembourg – made up of eighteen different nationalities, our bilingual team offers the opportunity to carry out turnkey projects for international brands across the continent.

We are seeking a junior bid manager who is detail-oriented and proactive, to support the delivery of high-quality Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Requests for Proposals (RfPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and tender submissions across complex construction projects.

This is a dynamic role suitable for someone with a blend of bid coordination, writing and visual presentation skills. The key role will be in supporting the full bid lifecycle – from initial qualification to final submission – ensuring all materials are clear, compelling and professionally presented.

The junior bid manager will work closely with the bid manager and wider teams across Europe, requiring strong organisational skills, excellent written and spoken English and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and submission of PQQs, RfPs and ITTs and related bid documents across multiple regions
  • Assist in drafting, editing and tailoring bid responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with criteria
  • Ensure all submissions and documentation are compliant with client requirements and deadlines, maintaining high standards of qualit
  • Contribute to the creation of graphics and presentation materials
  • Maintain and update bid libraries, templates and case studies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial, and project information
  • Review and proof read documents to ensure accuracy, consistency and full compliance with required standards
  • Support the bid manager in managing the end-to-end bid process and optimising

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g. construction-related studies)
  • Experience supporting PQQ, RfPs and ITTs within a structured bid process
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience in document formatting and the visual presentation of proposals
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation
  • Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Basic graphic design or layout skills are considered a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with AI tools is considered a valuable asset.
