Triple-floor fit out for law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP

Looking to move from a serviced office space to its own commercial property, the American law firm had acquired three floors – levels 2, 3 and 4 – within the iconic listed building, and required several upgrades to the 2,000 m2 space, prior to occupation.

Marking the first project delivery for this client, the phased scope of works saw the Agilité team working on level 3 – the staff floor – first, to allow the team to move in. This included the creation of cellular offices, IT and copy rooms, and a cafeteria.

Once the client had moved into the completed level three, works could then begin on the lower, ‘client-facing’ floor, which included a reception area, meeting rooms – with high-end finishes – and audio-visual infrastructure. The HVAC system on level 2 was completely overhauled too, to increase fresh air capacity within the large meeting rooms.

Having started on site in December 2019, the project was brought to a halt in March 2020, as the French capital was put into lockdown because of Coronavirus. Work recommenced in April, with the final handover taking place in June 2020.
