Following five recent store openings in France for US-based sports retailer, Lids -Agilité was appointed to manage the store fit out design for a new outlet in the O'Parinor shopping centre at Aulnay-sous-Bois, northern Paris.

Plan

The timescale was tight, with the retail outlet project delivered in just one month, so agile planning was required. This included rigorous budget setting, cost planning, and construction programming. Agilité consulted with subcontractors to obtain procurement quotes. Details like delivery timescales had to be carefully factored in, as any delays would cause a huge problem.

Align

Precise project monitoring and reporting was crucial to meet the deadline and uphold the consistent store and brand identity that Lids is known for. Weekly online meetings were held with Lids, involving members of their teams across Europe, from France, Germany, and the UK. We acted on behalf of the client on all aspects of site compliance documentation required by the shopping centre and coordination with suppliers, and contractors to ensure supply-chain control.

Communicate

Given the extremely tight timescales, regular communication between all parties was a key part of the project delivery. Plans and site photography were discussed in the weekly client meetings, to ensure everything was aligned with the client’s specifications.

Execute

In addition to the design development and delivery, we provided a range of design services, including joinery, lighting, electrical work, external signage, finishing, flooring, and graphics. This included creating a customised electronic table and cash desk for sales.

Having already established a thorough understanding of the client’s brand identity through previous projects, Agilité was well-equipped to create a vibrant store — delivering an immersive customer retail experience that successfully meets the expectations of the modern consumer.
