When LinkedIn extended the lease of its office in Paris by a further three years, it was time for a refresh.
The ‘world’s largest professional social networking platform’, enlisted the help of Agilité Solutions to make its 1,500 m2 space Covid-secure ahead of the return of its employees.
Creating a safe working environment for LinkedIn’s employees
The project scope centred around the team’s return to work, post-pandemic. Alongside the physical renovations, the delivery involved a deep clean of three levels – including all room partitions.
In order to adapt existing floorspace to cater for the changing guidance, LinkedIn readjusted the layouts of certain levels in order to fulfil the 4 m2 of space required per employee/workstation, as well as the minimum distances proposed for common area and the installations of contactless water fountains.
Adding the finishing touches to the 1,500 m2 space, Agilité ensured the client remained updated, despite the strict covid restrictions in place. We oversaw the selection and placement of all office furniture and decoration – including plants, to aid employee wellbeing. We also managed the manufacture and installation of window stickers, graphic elements, and all acoustic panelling.
Glass partitions were incorporated to divide the main areas, while benches and platforms were introduced to create new layouts which helped to break up the space and control the flow of people throughout the levels.
The Agilité team took care of all changes to the lighting, power and network infrastructure, alongside the procurement and fitting of flexible carpet and PVC flooring alongside updated graphics and décor – alongside the removal of the existing false ceiling, which was replaced with one which could be easily changed.
