Found in the heart of Lux city, the ground floor of the former Luxembourg Bourse houses solely commerce and leisure spaces, with Zedra now occupying approximately 650 sqm on the first floor of the historic building.
As an international provider of corporate services and global expansion, alongside active wealth, and fund solutions – it made sense for Zedra’s new Luxembourg home to be inside the country’s former stock exchange.
The legacy within the brick and mortar meant the project architect Heyligers (Amsterdam) was keen to maintain some of the characterful original elements – such as stonework and windows – as part of the renovation.
Not everything remained, though, as the scope of works also required the removal of some of the existing partitions, since the design specifications were to transform from closed offices and private cubicles to an open plan office with elegant finishes.
Reconfiguring the layouts made it possible to increase the number of workstations too, and Agilité handled all the strip out of all existing technical installations – as well as the installation of infrastructure to support the return to work.
What’s more, our commercial interiors specialists carried out all finishing works too – from repairing the building slab, providing new flooring, procuring and installing glazed partitions and doors, fitting new ceilings and applying decorative elements such as wallpaper and specialist lighting.
