The first quarter has been all about sustainability, collaboration, and celebrating success across our project locations. Our teams have been busy making an impact — both in and out of the workplace — through B Corp-led initiatives and major project handovers.
We’re also excited to welcome Sara Purvis, our new country head for Germany, as we continue to expand our presence in the region. With new leadership in place, we look forward to strengthening relationships, expanding operations, and delivering more outstanding projects in Germany.
With new spaces coming to life, there’s plenty to share from the past few months. Read on to see what we’ve been up to!

Tiziana Golia, Anna Filippi and Simona Pollara connected with fellow B Corps in a fun and informal environment, partnering with organisations that share our vision. And it wasn’t just about networking either — it was an experience, full of meaningful conversations about the issues that matter to us and Generation B.
MAP’s team is currently in the Sundarbans mangrove forest, collaborating with the Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) to conduct a Community-Based Ecological Mangrove Restoration (CBEMR) workshop (watch the video, here).

Led by IT manager Ian Peksa, Agilité’s March instalment of its ‘Lunch and Learn’ focused on raising awareness of the environmental impact of digital waste. Colleagues set aside a half-day in March to clean up their digital footprint as part of our sustainability efforts.

Our operational excellence and sustanibility coordinator, Scott Tortosa attended a seminar focused on data management hosted by IMS in Kirchberg, Luxembourg. It gave a closer look at dataflows, GDPR, reporting, compliance, and a closer look at the pros and cons for AI. This insightful workshop also provided valuable AI training for users, including best-practice frameworks for implementation and control. Having formed an AI committee here at Agilité, we’re looking forward to putting what we learnt into action.

This past quarter we braved the cold for a tree-planting day alongside Des Enfants Et Des Arbres – February 4. This meaningful day of volunteering in Eole en Beauce - Centre Val de Loire was part of a wider community event with the non-profit organisation, to support an agroecological programme.
"Agilité is so friendly, and it was so enjoyable spending time together doing something meaningful!" – Meena Bhogal, MACE.
Juanjo Oller, Aurore Lossier, Sandja Wesséme Kawe, and Marwan Morcos ran the Paris Half Marathon on March 3, with Solidarity Bibs for Secours Populaire, supporting those in need.
A few days later, Aurore joined Galia Minkara and Ahmed Senhaji at Gensler’s ‘empowering women’ day – an event focused on DEI initiatives, highlighting five strategies for building an inclusive future.
The Luxembourg team has been busy too, with Guillaume Agudo and Fabio Duarte travelling to Copenhagen for HYROX on March 14, raising funds for Médecins Sans Frontières Luxembourg.
Guillaume also joined Luxembourg country head, Andrew Zacharias for a British Chamber of Commerce event geared around Internal Women’s Day, with delegates celebrating female leadership in construction and beyond.
We learnt, listened and laughed a lot over two days at the Workspace Design Show, with colleagues from the UK and Luxembourg joining the delegate list. Plenty of food for thought.

Scott Tortosa attended an event hosted by IMS Luxembourg - Inspiring More Sustainability, looking back at key achievements from 2024 and reviewing the strategy for 2025.
As a new member of the IMS network, we're excited to be part of this community and contribute to its overarching mission for a sustainable future. Scott was there to represent us and connect with other organisations. We’re looking forward to working together on sustainable business practices and leveraging the resources IMS provides.

Galia Minkara, France country head, had the pleasure of presenting Agilité to 200 new engineering students from École Spéciale des Travaux Publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie (ESTP), in Paris. She shared insights on the industry and future opportunities.
The first quarter was indeed full of significant advancements and teamwork, from industry events and community participation to environmental projects. As we continue to grow, we’re eager to strengthen partnerships, embrace new opportunities, and make a lasting impact. Stay tuned for more updates.
The past two months have been packed with opportunities for collaboration, learning, and a touch of fun! From insightful events in London and vibrant summer celebrations in Paris to exciting site visits and Luxembourg’s famous fair, here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to.
BISNOW with Daniel Hunt - 4 July 2024
Daniel Hunt, our UK country head, had the pleasure of representing Agilité in London at BISNOW’s ‘Retrofitting for the Future’ event.
Reflecting on the day, Daniel said, “It was an informative event, and there was so much the Agilité London team took away from it – not only the panel I was a part of, but the presentations and discussions throughout the morning. It was also a delight to have a closer look at Building 7 and meet some of the influential people that regularly attend BISNOW seminars.”
It was a day of learning and networking, reaffirming Agilité’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Scalapay: Opening party - 4 July 2024
Members of our Italian team – Maria Luisa, Simona and Tiziana – joined in the excitement as Scalapay celebrated the opening of its new office. It’s been a pleasure to work with the FinTech services company and rewarding to share the team spirit on a special day for the team.

Site visits and team adventures
July also saw our Italian team visit an exciting upcoming project, ensuring everything was running smoothly on-site and progressing well. The visit was a great opportunity to check in with the team and review the work ahead.
The excitement continued as colleagues from our Paris team (Galia, Hani, Séb, Michael, Morvan and Ahmed) were invited to a summer party hosted by one of our subcontractors on 11 July. It was a wonderful evening filled with good food, great company, and strengthening relationships with our partners.

Fun at the Schueberfouer - 30 August 2024
When the annual Schueberfouer funfair returned to Luxembourg City, it was the perfect opportunity for our team to unwind. Federica, Cecile, Carine, Scott Ahmed, and Guillaume enjoyed the rides, games and treats at one of Europe’s oldest traditional fairs.

July and August have been filled with collaboration, celebration, and recharging. From conferences in London to summer evenings with our teams in Italy, Paris and Luxembourg, we’re keeping the momentum going.
Stay tuned for more updates from the Agilité team next month!
Another month has come and gone, representing four more weeks of growth and development for our international network of colleagues and collaborators. Recently, we’ve been attending numerous meetings and conferences, dining with clients and colleagues, and even visiting Venice! Read on to find out more...
Hospitality Design Conference:
Our Italian country head, Maria Luisa Daglia, visited the Hospitality Design Conference in Milan, Italy. The networking event was a wonderful opportunity to discuss ideas and hear from international experts on the vast world of hospitality design.
Italian Team Spring Dinner:

Fresh off the back of their Milan office opening, our Italian team enjoyed dinner together to celebrate a successful spring. The creative crew left their mark on the table too!
Welcome Lunch in Luxembourg:

We’re never ones to miss a good meal, or a chance to develop our strong team spirit and welcome newcomers. Last month, our Luxembourg team welcomed Luigi Prencipe, our new financial controller with lunch in the capital. Ciao Luigi!
Design Forecast by Gensler:

We attended Design Forecast 2024 with Gensler, an internationally renowned design and architecture firm and long-time Agilité collaborator. The Design Forecast is a collection of numerous trends and predictions impacting design across the globe, and it was fascinating to hear Gensler’s insights for the 12 months to come.
Dinner with PSG:

Football fever is gripping Europe, with the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament getting underway in Germany this June. It’s no different here at Agilité, with all but one of our offices being represented by a competing team (sorry Luxembourg!).
Sticking with the soccer spirit, our Parisian colleagues recently celebrated the handover of a flagship project with the prestigious Paris Saint-Germain football club, where it successfully delivered one of its ‘Megastores’.
The Plan in Venice:

Rounding out May, we attended the 15th edition of Perspective Europe, a one-of-a-kind international architecture and design forum in historic Venice, Italy.
For our team, represented on the ground by Martina and Carlotta, it was a great opportunity to meet industry leaders, forge new business relations and learn about the latest developments and innovations from within the industry.
This has been a month of celebrating past successes, and securing future ones. From talks in Milan, and team dinners in Italy and Luxembourg, to exciting insights from Gensler and celebrating with PSG, we’ve been very busy as always. Ending May in Venice at the Perspective Europe forum was the cherry on top.
Stay tuned for more updates from Agilité next month.
On the road: Office openings, cross-border collaboration and powering up the UK
If early spring saw a focus on our growing UK team — with project completions and our Farringdon office opening — then late spring certainly sees the emphasis shifting into mainland Europe and Agilité Italia.
Read on to discover what our teams in and out of Italy have been getting up to lately!
Another month, another office opening:

In April, we celebrated the opening of our brand-new Milan office! Located on Via Cartesio 2, the new HQ strengthens our presence in Italy, which has stood since 2019, and follows our growth in turnover, sustainability, headcount and process quality. Bellissimo!
Supporting local sustainability missions:

We’re always looking for opportunities to make a tangible difference to the community, and for our Italian team, this involved numerous activities in April. We supported the launch of a book on Milan's urban regeneration, volunteered with Plastic Free to help clean up P.le Cantore, and engaged with our fellow B Corp businesses in a stunning Apple Store. ???? ????
Design week on our doorstep (in Milan):

As the biggest annual design event in the world (and right on our doorstep) you just know we were getting stuck in! With countless installations and events spread across the city in mid-April, and a theme of circularity, inclusiveness and the promotion of young talents, it was a fantastic and inspirational week.
It’s all about operational excellence:

Mid-month at Agilité means Lunch and Learn! This month, we heard from Pete Dennis of Cedar Oak LLP, as he talked about the importance of operation excellence. Pete broke down the key behaviours we can all aspire to include in our working lives, which will contribute to a successful, respectful and progressive team.
Crossing borders with General Motors:
We held a cross-border meeting with some of our teams and co-collaborators working on General Motors’ latest project in late April. The meeting was attended by Gensler, General Motors, and Agilité’s French, German and Italian teams. Communication is one of our key pillars to success, and although modern technology is fantastic for this, nothing beats travelling abroad to hold these important meetings face-to-face.

Battersea – powering inspiration for the UK team:
We rounded out the month with a visit to the stunningly overhauled Battersea Power Station, an icon of the London skyline. We visited the regeneration project with the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) to pick up inspiration from one of the country’s most famous and significant design and architecture projects of recent years.
That’s a wrap!
After the whirlwind of activities that March brought, April was quieter, but no less productive and informative. Stay tuned to our channels to keep up to date with everything we get up to next month!
We say it every time, but the past few weeks have been Agilité’s busiest of 2024 yet! We’ve celebrated the opening of numerous spaces (including one of our own!), strengthened our charity partnerships, and celebrated World Water and International Women’s Day!
Take a look at what we’ve been getting stuck into, below!

On 28 March, the French team explored the Paris Workspace Expo., Europe’s premier B2B exhibition for workplace fitout, featuring a huge array of over 300 exhibitors, and thousands of visitors.
The theme this year was “Authentic, Sustainable and Connected”, emphasising innovations that blend respect for our environment, and our colleagues. We’re always looking for ways to push our high ESG standards even further at Agilité, so it was great to hear from other leaders in the field.
Over on the other side of France, Neil Coales, Kirsty Shearer and Maria Luisa Daglia from our leadership team were exploring MIPIM at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, a major international real estate show.
Agilité had one of the more than 300 stands at the event, and the team got a chance to share their expertise with some of the 20,000+ delegates, from 90 countries.

On the 8th of March, we celebrated International Women’s Day, a global celebration to honour the achievements of women and promote women’s rights.
At Agilité, we are proud to have a diverse and inclusive team of talented professionals throughout Europe, who are each helping to redefine spaces and our wider industry.
“Creating a journey of impact in our sector.”
Our very own Kirsty Shearer joined the local B Corp community at Banque de Luxembourg in Luxembourg city for this event. Representing Agilité, Kirsty gave a presentation before raising a glass with fellow B Corp leaders and over 100 attendants, celebrating and recognising the importance of the movement, and our place within it.

The team visited a factory in Italy to select the perfect Onyx stone for a Parisian financial services company. Nothing beats getting hands-on with the materials to ensure every resource is selected with care.

Not only that but the Italian team were also on the ground in Milan to check on the progress of two secret projects in the iconic city…

One of the highlights of the last few weeks has been witnessing the opening of a glorious and expansive project in the heart of the Belgian capital. Roughly 700 guests were present at the opening of the stunning retail gallery, a project which required Agilité’s high-level communication and collaboration to be at its best. The results speak for themselves!

22nd March saw our pan-European team celebrate World Water Day; an international observance used to advocate the importance of sustainable management of freshwater.
Our commitment to charitable pursuits doesn’t just see us donate three percent of all profits to charity, but results in tangible, real-world developments too – early April saw the completion of our first project with charity: water, the installation of five piped system taps bringing safe, clean water to 250 vulnerable citizens of Tsarahasina, Madagascar.

Carlotta Filippini and Nicholas Perry joined our Italian and UK teams as cost estimator and commercial manager respectively. The pair will be valuable assets to the financial side of our business and have already made great contributions to our global Agilité family.

March’s Lunch & Learn session was hosted by Ruth Harrison-Davies, who looks after all of our PR and communications at Elan PR. Ruth highlighted the importance of our PR and communications strategy and the little things, we can all do to help make a big splash in our industry!

In March, we marked the opening of our brand-new UK office with a special celebration in Farringdon, London. The new space, with views of St Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard, was a wonderful opportunity to link up with friends in the industry, charity partners, and raise a glass to the success of our rapidly growing UK team. Cheers!

March was our favourite kind of month, busy! It’s been fantastic to have shared it with so many fantastic clients, charity partners, colleagues and collaborators. As always, we have lots more in the pipeline, so join us next time to hear all about what we’ve been getting up to.
The last few weeks have been really busy for our global team, where, on top of our usual activities, we announced a very special accolade… Read below to find out everything we have been getting up to!
This February, we were delighted to announce our B Corp Certification. Whilst it fills us with pride to be one of only 18 companies in our sector with this accolade, our dedication to ESG is far from at an end. B Corp certification is a journey, not a destination, and we intend to reflect this with our ongoing actions.

Towards the end of last month, we were joined by Cintia Procaci, the founder of sustainability consultancy A Beautiful Green for one of our ‘lunch and learn’ sessions, featuring B Corp-certified Panino Giusto sandwiches!

With a broad spread of clients across the continent, we are regularly dispatching our teams to check in on the projects local to them. The past few weeks have seen Agilité team members in Rome, Brussels, Glasgow and more!

The UK team joined Agilité managing director Neil Coales, development director Kirsty Shearer and representatives from the client for dinner in Glasgow, to celebrate the handover of an exciting new project.

Agilité’s Italian country lead, Maria Luisa Daglia attended Arel, the Associazione Real Estate Ladies to give a talk on ‘environmental, social and corporate governance.’ Never one to turn down a chance to share her expertise, Maria Luisa also contributed to ilQl’s ‘The New World of Offices’ forum on 20/02.

Gathering insights and opening ourselves up to blue-sky thinking is key to always moving forward and developing fresh ideas. For that reason, our development director and CREW UK board chair, Kirsty Shearer attended an event with Gensler organised by CREW UK, for discussions on AI, ‘The 600 Year Office’ and more.

That rounds out a busy period for us at Agilité, full of gaining new knowledge and sharing our own with the industry. Stay tuned to our social media to keep up to date with what we’re getting up to!
We’ve worked hard to recruit some of the most experienced global talent from the world of design, build, construction and project management. Each month, we put one of our colleagues in the spotlight so you can learn a little more about their role. Next up, it’s assistant project manager, Kiran Kondrapu...
When reading the job specification, I noticed how many of the candidate’s ideal qualities — punctuality, accountability, willingness to learn — I possessed myself. I was further motivated to apply because of the high calibre of clients that Agilité works with. The likes of Fred Perry, Indeed.com, Lids have a reputation for superior standards — something I am keen to deliver on behalf of my new organisation.
I grew up, completed my bachelor’s degree, and began my career in India before commencing the next phase of my education in Northumbria, England. My background in civil engineering and project management means I have an eye for detail and thrive when overseeing a construction project from start to finish.
Beginning my journey with Agilité. I have always had an interest in the construction industry — as a young boy I loved assembling sandcastles and playing with building blocks. In my undergraduate degree, I achieved a distinction and the highest mark in my course — a record I still hold to this day! When I moved to UK, I decided to take a leap of faith and follow my passion — now here I am in my perfect role.
My job is mostly about planning and supervision — coordinating with stakeholders, clients, colleagues, and subcontractors to ensure targets, standards, and expectations are met throughout a project.
I am looking forward to getting to know my new colleagues and clients, building strong professional relationships, and doing my best.
This is a very hard question — someone with a high standards who presents challenge. But, if you’re asking me to choose just one, I would say Five Guys, because I’m extremely familiar with the organisation, which probably gives me a unique perspective in delivering the work.
In the evenings after work, I tend to have my head in a novel — a recent favourite was ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ by John Green. But I also love travelling, so when I have a little more time off, you’re unlikely to find me as I’m always on the move!
Paris, to see the Eiffel Tower. Working with Agilité, this may happen sooner than I’d anticipated!
I find that if you are accountable for something, it’s the biggest motivator of all.
My dream job.
I personally believe, the biggest challenge is the industry mindset. If we drilled down into the root causes, the thirst for profits at corporate levels can sometimes come at a cost, and one which ignores the wider environmental impact. The solution is simple, yet difficult to implement — focus more on purpose than bottom lines.
For this reason, I am proud to be a part of Agilité, as we are already making excellent headway in the sector — implementing changes to reducing carbon emissions and protect our planet for future generations.
