On the Road with Agilité

We say it every time, but the past few weeks have been Agilité’s busiest of 2024 yet! We’ve celebrated the opening of numerous spaces (including one of our own!), strengthened our charity partnerships, and celebrated World Water and International Women’s Day!

Take a look at what we’ve been getting stuck into, below!

Paris Workspace Expo.:

On 28 March, the French team explored the Paris Workspace Expo., Europe’s premier B2B exhibition for workplace fitout, featuring a huge array of over 300 exhibitors, and thousands of visitors.
The theme this year was “Authentic, Sustainable and Connected”, emphasising innovations that blend respect for our environment, and our colleagues. We’re always looking for ways to push our high ESG standards even further at Agilité, so it was great to hear from other leaders in the field.

MIPIM:

Over on the other side of France, Neil Coales, Kirsty Shearer and Maria Luisa Daglia from our leadership team were exploring MIPIM at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, a major international real estate show.
Agilité had one of the more than 300 stands at the event, and the team got a chance to share their expertise with some of the 20,000+ delegates, from 90 countries.

International Women’s Day:

On the 8th of March, we celebrated International Women’s Day, a global celebration to honour the achievements of women and promote women’s rights.
At Agilité, we are proud to have a diverse and inclusive team of talented professionals throughout Europe, who are each helping to redefine spaces and our wider industry.

B Lab Benelux:

“Creating a journey of impact in our sector.”

Our very own Kirsty Shearer joined the local B Corp community at Banque de Luxembourg in Luxembourg city for this event. Representing Agilité, Kirsty gave a presentation before raising a glass with fellow B Corp leaders and over 100 attendants, celebrating and recognising the importance of the movement, and our place within it.

Material selection in Italy:

The team visited a factory in Italy to select the perfect Onyx stone for a Parisian financial services company. Nothing beats getting hands-on with the materials to ensure every resource is selected with care.

On-site in Milan:

Not only that but the Italian team were also on the ground in Milan to check on the progress of two secret projects in the iconic city…

A flagship project in Brussels:

One of the highlights of the last few weeks has been witnessing the opening of a glorious and expansive project in the heart of the Belgian capital. Roughly 700 guests were present at the opening of the stunning retail gallery, a project which required Agilité’s high-level communication and collaboration to be at its best. The results speak for themselves!

World Water Day and an important charity milestone:

22nd March saw our pan-European team celebrate World Water Day; an international observance used to advocate the importance of sustainable management of freshwater.
Our commitment to charitable pursuits doesn’t just see us donate three percent of all profits to charity, but results in tangible, real-world developments too – early April saw the completion of our first project with charity: water, the installation of five piped system taps bringing safe, clean water to 250 vulnerable citizens of Tsarahasina, Madagascar.

A growing family:

Carlotta Filippini and Nicholas Perry joined our Italian and UK teams as cost estimator and commercial manager respectively. The pair will be valuable assets to the financial side of our business and have already made great contributions to our global Agilité family.

Lunch and learn with Elan PR:

March’s Lunch & Learn session was hosted by Ruth Harrison-Davies, who looks after all of our PR and communications at Elan PR. Ruth highlighted the importance of our PR and communications strategy and the little things, we can all do to help make a big splash in our industry!

A new home in the UK:

In March, we marked the opening of our brand-new UK office with a special celebration in Farringdon, London. The new space, with views of St Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard, was a wonderful opportunity to link up with friends in the industry, charity partners, and raise a glass to the success of our rapidly growing UK team. Cheers!
