A fresh look for this global investment management firm

The planning phase for this client’s Luxembourg office began in 2022 with an initial price quotation. After a year-long delay, the project was greenlit to start in June 2024. Due to the time elapsed, updated prices were required to reflect market changes. The client was open to these adjustments, aware that 24 months had significantly impacted costs. The scope expanded slightly, with Agilité tasked to deliver some materials and implement minor design revisions.

Agilité ensured alignment with the client’s objectives by maintaining strict cost and margin controls. The scope of work included changing flooring, wall finishes, painting and light electrical box adjustments – with specific paint chosen to match the desired finishes

Effective communication was vital to the project's success. Weekly meetings and reports kept the client informed and ensured progress aligned with their vision. Using Procore, all plans, submissions and documents were meticulously tracked. The project manager and architect – based in Poland – coordinated with the on-site team, led by Cécile Blot, who oversaw daily operations.

The project progressed smoothly, adhering to the timeline and budget. However, some challenges required careful management. For instance, the flooring could not be lowered to the desired level, prompting Agilité to find a new supplier to meet specifications without compromising quality. One significant challenge was managing the occupied floor during renovations. To minimise disruption, strategic planning ensured access to essential areas like kitchens and toilets while maintaining progress on other parts of the project.
